Last updated: August 2026.
This policy explains how the Order of European Inventors and Innovators (“the Order”, “we”) processes the personal data of visitors to euroinnovationorder.com, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the applicable Romanian law.
Who we are
The Order of European Inventors and Innovators (Ordinul Inventatorilor și Inovatorilor Europeni), with its registered office at 15 Aleea Brândușei, 077066 Corbeanca, Ilfov County, Romania. Data protection contact: contact@euroinnovationorder.com.
What data we process, and why
Contact details you send us voluntarily. When you write to us by email or through the contact form, we process your name, email address, telephone number (if you provide it) and the content of your message — solely in order to answer your request, for the admission process, or for correspondence relating to the work of the Order. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering requests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Technical data. The server hosting the site automatically records standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages accessed), necessary for the operation and security of the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Cookies. The site uses only cookies strictly necessary for its operation. We do not use marketing cookies and we do not display advertising. Should we introduce traffic analysis tools, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested beforehand.
How long we keep the data
Correspondence is kept for as long as is necessary to deal with the request and, thereafter, for the period required by legal obligations or by a legitimate interest (as a rule, no longer than 3 years). Technical logs are deleted automatically at short intervals, in accordance with the hosting provider’s policy.
Who we share the data with
We neither sell nor rent your data. It can be accessed only by authorised persons within the Order and by our technical providers (web hosting in Romania), who act as processors under contractual confidentiality obligations. We do not transfer data outside the European Union.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access to your data, the right to rectification, the right to erasure (“the right to be forgotten”), the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to object, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@euroinnovationorder.com. We will reply within 30 days at the latest.
If you consider that your rights have been infringed, you may address the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) — www.dataprotection.ro.
Updates
This policy may be updated as the activity of the site develops (for example, when an online membership form is introduced). The current version, with the date of the last update, is always published on this page.
